Homemade Chicken Burger

Welcome to my humble blog... normally we dunno where to start so we think and think and think of what to write. But anyway, this blog will basically be about food, food and more food.. home cooked food and food we eat outside when home kitchen is closed or simple cause we're too lazy to cook or too busy to cook...

Please also pardon my lousy pictures as I don't own a DSLR... Pictures are only taken from my cheap Canon Ixus 105.. and iPhone 4.. so don't expect nice photography.. I do envy those food bloggers with nice pictures in their blogs... it just make u feel like eating up the food in the pictures..  hopefully i can save enough to buy one soon..

Okay... enough with the this and that.. I'll start my first blog with the home made chicken burger... actually it was made sometimes ago, and i snap a few pictures of it.  Guess it's a good idea to save it up for blogging later on.  So here it goes..

Oh ya... don't expect me to list down ingredients with the grams, tablespoons... etc... haha.. basically just little bit of this and that.. enough to taste.. that's it.. i guess u don't expect ur mom to follow the recipe book everytime she cook huh... cook with your own imagination.. :)

Ingredients:
Boneless Chicken Thighs
Fried Eggs
Lettuce
Slices of Tomatoes
Slices Cucumber
Cheddar Cheese
Chilli Sauce or Tomato Sauce
Mayonnaise
Black Pepper Sauce

Marinate:
salt
maggie soy sauce
dark soy sauce
white wine
sugar
pepper
sesame oil
cornflour
*ginger powder

(I don't think u'll be able to buy the ginger powder at the supermarket.. as i never seen any.. this ginger powder is made by my mother in law for cooking "kachang ma".  It's made by slicing the ginger and dry it under the sun.. make sure it is dry enough and u fry it abit in the wok to make sure that it is totally dry, then u blend it into powder.  I'll post it up later when she made it with some pictures for reference.. :))

My chicken burger is simple.. i used deboned chicken thigh.. u can ask the guy at the supermarket to deboned it for u.  Marinate the meat overnight for better taste.

Pan grilled the chicken.  As for the burger bun, warmed it up a bit by pan fried it using a bit of butter. So when everything is done... u're ready to arrange ur burger... put more mayonnaise if u like it.. or more chilli sauce if u prefer abit spicy... it's your own liking anyway... double cheese if u like.. and you're burger is ready to feed in your stomach..
